Seville will be on the world map this week as it will be hosting the annual congress of the World Travel & Tourism Council, the only international, private organisation that brings together leads of the global travel and tourism industry. Sevilla FC will take part in the event as they are one of its sponsors and will have their own stand. Therefore, the club will be in direct contact with leading industries in the travel and tourism industry.
WTTC is the international voice for the tourism as, amongst the 150 members that compose it, there are CEOs from leading business in the aeroplane, hotel, cruise, travel agency, tour organisation, vehicle hire, and technological industries. This global event will take place in the Conference and Exhibition Centre of Seville (FIBES) and will have stand-out guests such as the former president of the United States and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Barack Obama.
Sevilla FC will have a stand with the intention to work with the biggest tourism industries in the world, giving Sevilla the perfect chance to present themselves to the world.
It will be the first time since 2015, when it took place in Madrid, that the WTTC Summit will take place in Europe after being hosted in Buenos Aires, Bangkok and Dallas in previous years.
