After the day off on Monday, Sevilla FC returned to work this Tuesday at the training village to start preparing for a demanding week which kicks off on Thursday with a European round of 16 tie against Slavia Prague and finishes with a league clash against Real Sociedad. The team cannot fail in these two home matches if they wish to keep their hopes alive in both competitions.

During the session, the only player to not train out on the pitch was Escudero who continues his recovery after the injury to his left hamstring in the last European duel against SS Lazio. Nolito, on the other hand, was able to begin training on the pitch, separate from the group, after the fractured fibula he suffered almost two months ago now in Bilbao. He is on track with the initial schedule but there is still a lot of time to go before he can return to training with the group. The team will train tomorrow behind closed doors from 10:30 CET and Pablo Machín and one of his players will offer a press conference immediately after.
