Sevilla FC wish to express their gratitude for all of the messages of support sent to Joaquín Caparrós after his decision to publically announce he has chronic leukemia which will not affect his work as a coach.

A vast number of Spanish football clubs, institutions from the sporting world and Spanish society, sporting personalities and celebrities have sent public and private messages of support to Caparrós who thanked everyone for their support on Monday on his official Twitter account.

Sevilla FC thank everyone from the bottom of our heart for the support the legendary Joaquín Caparrós has received, as well as the respect with which the media has treated this topic. As Caparrós said on his Twitter, 'you have to fight for success in this life' and, as everyone knows, we never stop fighting in Nervión.
