Lopetegui organised a tactical session for his squad on the legendary playing surface

Much like a big European fixture, Sevilla FC trained on the pitch they'll be performing on tonight - completing a tactical session at Fenway Park ahead of the team's clash with European Champions Liverpool FC.

The stadium dates back to 1912 - home of the legendary Boston Red Sox - and is one of the temples of American baseball in the MLB. Before training kicked-off, a few of Lopetegui's players got their hands on some baseball bats and hit the batting cage. But they would be soon back to serious business, as the session got going on Fenway's adapted pitch.

Having had a day and a half of rest, the Sevilla coach had an intense session in store for the team. The focus was technical and tactical work, which culminated in finishing training.

The team will face their toughest test of preseason this Sunday - facing Liverpool at 00:00 CET.
