Sevilla FC vs Villarreal CF has been rescheduled from its original 20:15 CET kick-off time to a new kick-off time of 22:15 CET, meaning a delay of two hours. La Liga have stated that the delay is due to high temperatures predicted for the original kick-off time.

This will be Sevilla's first league game at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán this season, after the side's 1-4 victory in Vallecas against Rayo Vallecano.
