With another international break now in session, Sevillistas all around the world will once again have the chance to see their players representing their countries. Six Sevillistas have been called up to do international duty, with games scheduled before the team's next La Liga clash with Barcelona. The first up will be Danish centre-back and international captain, Simon Kjaer who will play against Panamá in Denmark this Thursday.
On the 23rd of March, another five will be in action. Ben Yedder and Luis Muriel coincidentally face off in an anticipated France vs Colombia clash that may see two teammates Fighting in direct competition. That match kicks off at 20:00 CET. Just 45 minutes later, Banega and Mercado could pull on the Argentina shirt once again, facing Italy in the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. To finish up the night, Layún will face Iceland with his native Mexico.
Coincidentally, Muriel and Ben Yedder could clash in France vs Colombia
In the second week of the international break, Ben Yedder will be in with a chance of facing the hosts of this year's World Cup, with France facing Russia at 17:50 CET in St. Petersberg. Not long after, Kjaer will play once again against Chile at 20:00. One hour later, Muriel will be in action once again, facing Australia in Craven Cottage, Fulham. On the other side of the world, Layún will possibly face off against Croatia in a 3:30AM CET kick-off.
It would be hard to argue, however, that any of those games take precedent over Spain vs Argentina, which is due to take place in the Wanda Metropolitano at 21:30 CET on the 27th. Mercado and Banega, again, could feature.
