SPARTAK MOSCOW, LIVERPOOL AND NK MARIBOR OPPONENTS FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUP PHASE

Spartak Moscow, Liverpool and NK Maribor will be Sevilla FC's, oppenents in Group E of the Champions League. It will be the first time Sevilla have faced Spartak Moscow, though they have played Torpedo, Lokomotiv and CSKA Moscow. Liverpool and NK Maribor, Sevilla's other two opponents, have been faced. Sevilla FC defeated Liverpool in the final of the Europa League in 2016, and defeated NK Maribor in the on route to the final of the same competition in the 2013/14 campaign. 

Sevilla FC will first play in Liverpool on September the 13^th. They will then host NK Maribor  on Tuesday the 26^th of September. The third fixture, on the 17^th of October, will be against Spartak in Moscow, then again against Spartak, this time at home, on the 1^st of November. The fifth fixture will be against Liverpool, on the 21^st of November, then, the group stages will be completed on the 6^th of December in an away match against NK Maribor.
