France coach Didier Deschamps has selected the midfielder in his 23-man World Cup squad. Ben Yedder joins the eleven-player reserve list

Steven Nzonzi has been selected by Didier Deschamps to join the 23-player France squad headed for the Russia World Cup. The Sevilla centre-midfielder made his debut with the national side this past November against Wales but did not make the latest France squad this March.

For his part, Wissam Ben Yedder was selected as one of the eleven reserve players who could be called up by Deschamps in case of injury.
