Sevilla FC Women's players have completed October international duty with their respective countries. Toni Payne was the first to make an appearance, starting for Nigeria in a 1-1 draw and 4-0 win over Ethiopia in a Paris 2024 Olympic qualifying double-header.
Meanwhile, Alba Cerrato represented Spain in the first round of U17 Euros qualifying, securing three wins from three. She scored a hat-trick in the 8-1 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina before beating Czech Republic (4-1) and Portugal (4-0). In the Spain U23 side, Maria Pérez played a significant role for her side in a 4-1 win against Denmark and a 4-1 loss to the Netherlands. As for Inma Gabarro, she played in Spain's Nations League triumphs over Italy and Switzerland. Against the Italians, a 1-0 win courtesy of Jenni Hermoso's late goal, Gabarro came on for Teresa Abelleira during injury time before replacing Ballon d'Or winner Aitana Bonmatí after 77 minutes in her country's 7-1 thrashing of Switzerland, Spain's fourth consecutive victory.
Also in the Nations League, Czech captain Klára Cahynová was only able to gain a single point as her team drew (2-2) and lost (1-0) in their games against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Despite Diana Gomes starting both games, Portugal were consigned to two defeats against Austria, losing 2-1 in both games. The players will now begin preparations ahead of Sevilla FC Women's trip to FC Barcelona.
