THE FINAL MATCH OF THE SEASON AGAINST DEPORTIVO ALAVÉS TO BE PLAYED ON SUNDAY AT 21:00 CEST

With Sevilla FC mathematically qualified for the Champions League many weeks ago, it remained to be seen whether Deportivo Alavés would be playing to stay up in Nervión at the weekend. With their home win against Granada CF, they stay in the league another season and come to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán with their goal accomplished.

While it was announced yesterday the match would be played on Saturday, La Liga has modified the timetable today. All the games with something at stake have been moved to Saturday afternoon. Only Granada-Getafe (18:30 CEST) and Sevilla-Alavés (21:00 CEST) have been left for Sunday. With third place still to play for, Sevilla FC will know before their match if Barcelona have picked up a point or not in Ipurúa. Should Barcelona lose, three points for Sevilla would move them up to third.
