Escudero worked separately after being given the all-clear in Valencia 24 hours ago

Julen Lopetegui has led the final training session on Bank Holiday Friday ahead of Saturday's match against Atlético Madrid. The team was due to start training at 10:30, but they started at 11:00 at the Estadio Jesús Navas. Beforehand, they had a video session, as to analyse key concepts ahead of tomorrow's match against Simeone's side.

The session began with drills with the medicine ball, rondos and exercises on a vibrating platform, before starting with a tactical session. Carriço and Sergi Gómez did not feature, and Escudero trained separately, after being greeted with a round of applause after returning from Valencia yesterday. Lopetegui's press conference followed the training session.
