After enjoying a well deserved day-and-a-half of rest, the Sevilla FC squad returned to work late on Tuesday night and got straight down to work. The Nervionenses were called to the training ground, the first time they have trained there since going to Germany on 26th July as part of pre season.
THE TEAM RETURN TO WORK AFTER A WELL DESERVED DAY-AND-A-HALF REST
Lopetegui led the session which began with fitness training, always with the ball, with the idea of getting the players ready for the important week that lies ahead. In fact, Sevilla FC will work until Saturday at the training ground, including morning sessions, with away friendlies against Granada CF and Extremadura UD taking place on Friday and Saturday respectively. Both matches will start at 21:00.
The full back Sergio Reguilón was unable to train with his team mates due to the injury he picked up last Wednesday in training in Bad Schönborn, but he did not miss out on the finer details of the session. Also in attendance was the US head coach, Gregg Berhalter, who travelled to Sevilla to observe the work of Julen Lopetegui in person.
