Saturday evening saw the Czech Republic lose by the smallest of margins against Kosovo. With Tomas Vaclík starting from the off, the Czech team relinquished their one goal lead to lose 2-1, in the Euro 2020 qualifier.
The Sevilla goalkeeper, despite his team taking the lead through Schick, had to retrieve the ball twice from his own net as Kosovo staged a comeback, with goals from Muriqi and Vojvoda.
With this defeat, Czech Republic are now third in the group behind Kosovo and England, with their next game coming on Tuesday 10th September against Montenegro, with kick off at 20.45.
