Franco Vázquez scored yet again but it was not enough to get all three points against Atlético de Madrid. "It's important that we didn't lose, but at home we want to win. They play well, they pinned us down in the opening minutes of the second half and a draw isn't too bad".
VÁZQUEZ: "IT'S GREAT TO SCORE BUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICER TO WIN"
He was clear in his analysis of the game: "The first half was ours, but they came out strong and kept the ball in the opening 15 of the second half. After the equaliser we went out for all three points, we had Luuk's chance and a succession of corners, but we couldn't score, and now it's time to focus on what's ahead".
Now, Sevilla have already played the three strongest sides in the league: "The aim is to be fighting up there. We've played against a side who we knew would give us a difficult match after just three days rest. We have to continue playing like this". To finish, he spoke about starting and scoring: "There's a good squad, good players and any of us can start. It's great to score but it would have been nicer to win. Heading is one of my strengths and I am happy with the goal".
