WORK TO LAY DOWN WINTER GRASS IN THE SÁNCHEZ-PIZJUÁN NOW COMPLETED

As happens every year in the international break in October, we have used this period of no football in Nervión until 25 October to carry out this work

Every time the schedule offers a break, no matter how small it may be, improvement and renovation work are intensified throughout the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. In this case, as happens every October, it was the pitch's turn, and in the past few days the winter grass has been laid down. The work, under the supervision of Sevilla FC's greenkeeper, Carlos Venegas, consists of planting seeds of grass which adapts much better to the temperature in Sevilla in the winter.

Bit by bit, the winter grass will keep growing until Sevilla's next game at home, which is none other than the UEFA Europa League match against Akhisar Belediyespor on 25 October at 21:00 CEST.
