GABY MERCADO: 'DESPITE GOING DOWN, THE TEAM CAME BACK WELL'

Sevilla FC's defender Gaby Mercado analysed the draw against Alavés in Mendizorroza: 'We knew that it was going to be a tight and competitive game. They're having a very good season. I tried to do what the manager asked of me. Despite going into the break a goal down, the team came back well. We drew and we were very close to getting the three points.'

Speaking of what lies ahead in their schedule: 'It's very important that we continue to pick up points. It's nice to see ourselves up there but we know that we have to pick up points match by match against all the teams. We're going to try and win the three matches that we have left to end the year in the best way possible.'
