IMMIGRATION WORLD CUP POSTPONED DUE TO POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS

Due to the poor weather conditions, the 18th edition of the Immigration World Cup has been postponed. Originally scheduled for this weekend, the tournament, hosted by Sevilla FC Foundation, will now be played on 7 and 8 June.

The matches will be played at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios and tickets to watch are free. There will be a children's play area courtesy of the event sponsor GOYA. Paraguay are the defending champions in both the men's and women's categories, which have 16 and eight teams respectively. Teams were selected in a draw on 27 February, made by Club President José María del Nido Carrasco, players Sambi Lokonga and Lucía Moral, and club ambassador Pablo Blanco.
