AN IMPROVED RUN HEADING INTO THE FINAL THIRD OF THE SEASON

Although we didn't get the win at Vallecas, which could have taken us ahead of Rayo Vallecano in the league table, we did come back from a goal down to take a point - extending our run of positive results in the league. 

Since the defeat at Leganés, back in November, we have also lost three games - all of them coming against the top three teams fighting for the league title - namely FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid. A total of four wins and six draws in ten matches, means it is 18 points since that night at Butarque, including four clean sheets. 

In 2025, so far we have only lost one league game against FC Barcelona and have taken points from the other seven games. On Sunday night at the Reale Arena against Real Sociedad we will look to continue the run in our 27th league game of the season.
