Loïc Badé spoke to the media on Wednesday afternoon while attending a JD Sports sponsorship event alongside Juanlu Sánchez and Isaac Romero. The Frenchman began by highlighting the team's momentum ahead of a return to competitive action on Sunday in Gran Canaria: "We're feeling good, working hard and we will be ready for the next match. We have started to win more games and we have to continue this improvement in order to have a positive end to the season."
On a personal level, he also stressed his happiness at the club, despite a difficult season for the team: "I feel very good here. It has been a very tough year, but we have learnt a lot from the experience. It's not easy to accept, but it's football and you always have to work to be the best version of yourself because if you let the standards drop everything can go downhill. We learn and we will try to avoid this type of situation in future."
After discussing the strength of his partnership with Sergio Ramos and the confidence that coach Quique Sánchez Flores has in him, Badé also touched on the recent injury suffered by teammate Djbril Sow: "He is frustrated with the injury but he is a professional and will work to return with us as soon as possible."
To round off, the Frenchman reiterated that he is content at the club: "I am very happy in Sevilla, I work hard, try to progress and I love it here."
