SERGIO RAMOS: "OUR LUCK RAN OUT"

Sergio Ramos and Loïc Badé both spoke to the media following the defeat against Cádiz CF. Ramos started, "This is not the result that we wanted. We had our chances but could not take advantage. Perhaps our luck ran out. In the first half we played some nice football and controlled the ball. But Cádiz had the majority of the posession during the second. They have a lot to play for and kept fighting until the end. There is no excuse for us not to do the same. We have to learn from our mistakes."

"We need a good reaction to pick up the remaining six points. We had been in very good form before these last two games. We prepared in the same way and kept everything the same, but the important thing is that we learn from these defeats and get the reaction that we need," he said, looking ahead to the final two games of the season.

Badé was left disappointed by the result. He stated, "We needed to be stronger and smarter. Cádiz showed fight and managed find a winner at the death. We made a lot of mistakes, but that's football. We need to do more if we want to pick up as many points as possible."
