Kike Salas celebrated a very valuable win in Getafe: "For us it was a vital game, we came here for the three points and that is what we managed. The yellow card affected me a little, which was a bit strange, but as a team we held on very well. We competed for the full 90 minutes and in the end they didn't create any real chances. I'm very happy with the win and the three points that we deserve. I'm also happy for the fans, for all the tough times they've been through. We can't look back now. Now it's time for a break, to recharge our batteries and to prepare for the next three points."
Sergio Ramos was also interviewed: "Aside from personal matters - birthday and goal - it's the three points that are important. Where we are now, it was crucial to keep on picking up points and now we want to look forward, not backwards. We kept a clean sheet and we got three points. Scoring a goal is always a bonus. With it being my birthday as well, it's an unforgettable day."
Today's captain also revealed that "we knew that we were coming to a difficult venue, against a difficult team. Bordalás's sides are always tough to beat. We had to put up a fight and make use of set pieces. We took an early need but found ourselves under pressure for long periods. We sticked together, however, and held on for the win. We have to keep going, rest and think about the next game. We were under a bit of pressure given that Cádiz won last night, but ultimately it's what we do that matters. If you do the basics well and put in a good performance, usually you get the result that you deserve."
