Despite last season's difficulties, Sevilla Atlético have started 23/24 on fire. After eight games in the Segunda RFEF, the Spanish fourth tier, they sit in second place on 16 points, three behind leaders Marbella. A large part of this success is down to the Estadio Jesús Navas becoming a fortress. The statistics are beyond impressive.
Four games have been played at home, Sevilla Atlético have won all four. Cartagena B, La Unión CF, Yeclano and CD Manchego have all been swept aside at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios. The reserves kept a clean sheet in all four of these games, scoring ten goals.
The reserves also won the final three home games of last season, meaning that there have been seven consecutive victories at the Estadio Jesús Navas. Sevilla Atlético have not lost at home in 2023 - eleven victories and three draws with a total of 25 goals scored and only 5 conceded. There is no denying its status as a fortress.
