Sevilla FC Foundation, through Sevilla FC Radio's show 'Estilo Sevilla', continues to give a platform for charities to discuss their work within the society. This week saw the 'Comisión Española de Ayuda al Refugiado' (CEAR), a Spanish charity that supports refugees, and the Red Cross make an appearance.
The CEAR explained how they help refugees and migrants in vulnerable situations so that their rights are recognised and respected.
The Seville Red Cross spoke on 'Estilo Sevilla', indicating how the 'Unidad de Igualdad' (UDI) - unity through equality - scheme works. It is a support programme for the implementation and consolidation of gender equality within the workplace. The Seville Red Cross's goal is to introduce the UDI to every local council in the province of Seville, offering an innovative vision to improve both their own organisation and wider society. The objective is to boost gender equality and generate awareness of the matter.
