We will be one of the main representatives of clubs in the newly created Refereeing Reform Commission. Following the meeting convened by the RFEF in which it requested the presence of LALIGA and its member clubs, due to the events of the last few weeks, it was decided to create the Refereeing Reform Commission to study possible changes to be carried out. It was also agreed that the RFEF and LALIGA would be represented on the Commission, as well as two clubs representing LALIGA EA Sports and two clubs representing LALIGA Hypermotion, by a vote of the 42 clubs that make up the top two tiers of Spanish football.
With 12 votes from fellow member clubs, we received the most support, with Real Betis being the other representatives from the First Division. In the case of the Second Division, the clubs chosen were Granada CF and Albacete Balompié. In this way, the clubs recognise Sevilla FC as an interlocutor before these bodies, after publicly showing in recent days a clear and defined position in defense of the refereeing profession, taking a firm stand against the attacks received.
