The latest Football Benchmark report places us in the top 20 biggest brands in European football, rising four places

Beyond sporting matters, the Sevilla FC brand remains one of the most valuable brands in international football. This was once again reflected in one of the most prestigious reports, the Football Benchmark, which places the Sevilla brand as the 20th most valuable in Europe. The latest report sees us rise four places compared to the 2023 report, consolidating the club among the biggest brands in Spanish football, alongside clubs such as Real Madrid (1st), FC Barcelona (6th) and Atlético de Madrid (13th), and above Villarreal CF (30th) and Real Sociedad (32nd), who feature in this European list for the first time.

The Football Benchmark sets three main parameters for clubs to be included in its ranking. Clubs must be among the top 50 clubs in Europe in terms of total operating revenue and among the top 50 teams according to UEFA's five-year coefficient. If one of the above criteria is not met, a club could still be shortlisted if it is among the top 30 European clubs in number of followers on social media (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Weibo combined). The reason behind these selection criteria is to distinguish the most successful clubs in all areas with the highest international visibility.

Not only have we been one of the most successful clubs on the pitch, with 11 titles in the last 18 years, but also in terms of our social media following. With more than 21 million followers across all platforms we are the fourth-highest followed club in Spain, only behind Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Atletico de Madrid.
