SOW AND VARGAS CALLED UP BY SWITZERLAND FOR FRENDLIES AGAINST NORTHERN IRELAND AND SWITZERLAND

With World Cup qualifying getting underway in September, the Swiss will play two friendlies in the upcoming international break

Two of our players have been named in Switzerland's squad for the upcoming March international break. Murat Yakin has included both Djibril Sow and Rubén Vargas in the squad for the Swiss who, due to being in a group of four for World Cup qualifying (alongside Sweden, Slovenia and Kosovo), will begin their qualification campaign in September.

Sow and Vargas have been included in the squad for two upcoming friendlies. On Friday 21 March they will face Northern Ireland in Belfast at 20:45 CET. Then on Tuesday 25 March they will face Luxembourg in St. Gallen at the same time. 

Other Sevillistas away on international duty include Nyland who has been called up by Norway as well as Lucien Agoumé who has been included in France's Under-21s squad for their two friendlies against England on Friday 21 March in Lorient and then against Slovakia on Monday 24 March at 18:30 in Trnava.
