UNDER-19S VISIT SAN JUAN DE DIOS HOSPITAL TO CELEBRATE UEFA FOUNDATION DONATION

Through the Sevilla FC Foundation, the club has extended support to the San Juan de Dios Hospital and its Early Childhood Care Centre, after receiving a donation of 500 euros from the UEFA Foundation for our participation in the UEFA Youth League this season. A team of representatives led by Pablo Blanco, on behalf of our players and technical staff visited the medical centre, which is located in Nervión, very close to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.

Activities on the day consisted of a drawing competition in which the three winners were each awarded a Sevilla FC shirt signed by the first-team players. In addition, both the children present and several of the youth team players explained what our slogan 'NEVER SURRENDER' means to them. The event ended with the presentation of the cheque provided by the UEFA Foundation.

The Sevilla delegation was also able to see first-hand the work carried out at the centre with children up to the age of six who require comprehensive treatment in all areas. In operation since 2009, more than a thousand children pass through the centre each year, which has recently expanded its functions to include a comprehensive psycho-educational service for children over six years of age.
