Xavi García Pimienta had mixed feelings after tonight's draw against Osasuna: “I'm very pleased with the team, it was a very complete game in terms of play, attitude, generosity, and conceding very little to Osasuna. After the blow of their goal, when we were in a good moment, we didn't give up. We went for the equalizer and achieved it quickly. We kept pushing, and the crowd recognized the players' effort. Frustrated because the three points rightfully belonged to Sevilla, but happy because I believe this is the right path.”

Mentally, we took a step forward with the quick reaction after the 1-0: “It's one of the things we are working on daily, not depending on what happens on the scoreboard. If we are able to score the first goal, go for the second, but if things don’t go our way and we concede, don’t give up and show that we were the better team. I believe the team has been very mentally strong, and scoring the equalizer early also helped us. We went back to square one and continued dominating. In the end, the desire to win made Osasuna create some counter-attacks, but I believe the team did everything in their power to secure the three points.”

Now, we focus on the Copa and on Olot: “I know them perfectly, I was there with Barcelona B, I have coached many of their players in the Barça academy, and it’s true that right now they are not in a comfortable position in the Segunda Federación, but it will be a demanding match, typical of the Copa del Rey.
