Sevilla FC Women's team was defeated in the visit of Real Madrid to the sports city (0-4). David Losada's side gave their all to find a reward on Sunday morning, but only an unfortunate play and the performance of both goalkeepers prevented the scoreline from being more heavily altered than it unfortunately was for the red-and-white's interests.

In the first half, the Sevilla players saw the visitors take a step forward, but as the minutes went by, they began to feel more comfortable. Lucía Moral was one of the most active, with several attempts, one of which was a clear shot on Chavas' goal. Millaray Cortes also led her team from midfield, delivering several accurate crosses. After the half-hour mark, an action from the visitors ended with Esther Sullastres making a great initial save, but Alba Redondo didn't miss the rebound to score the first goal. In the final stages of the first half, following a good collective play from the Madrid team, Athenea scored the second goal before the break, extending the lead against a Sevilla team that finished with one player less after Lucía Moral was substituted due to discomfort.

The second half began with changes in both teams, and although the score was already a difficult burden, the Sevilla players sought their chances. However, it was the visitors who created the most danger, with a goal from Alba Redondo 20 minutes before the end, who scored low past Sullastres. After that third goal, there was a good play between Kanteh and Raquel, but they couldn’t finish as desired, followed by another shot from Diana Gomes. In the minute 77, Sevilla's captain Esther Sullastres was sent off for handling the ball outside the area, making the match even harder for her team. In stoppage time, despite some well-handled actions by the recently substituted Yoli Aguirre, Naomi Feller scored the fourth goal, sealing the final result.

Thus, the visitors' effectiveness thwarted the plans of a Sevilla women's first team that arrived at this match with good feelings, the same ones they need to recover ahead of next Saturday's clash in Lezama against Athletic Club (16:00 hours CET).
