BADÉ: "WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO ACHIEVE GREAT THINGS IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE"

Loïc Badé faced the media ahead of Sevilla's Champions League 2023/24 opening group stage match against RC Lens. The French central defender, accompanied by José Luis Mendilibar, said his emotions were primarily positive: "The feelings are good. In the dressing room, there's a buzz after picking up three points against Las Palmas so we are all set for tomorrow night."

Asked about the impacts of Boubakary Soumaré and Sergio Ramos, he explained that he "feels good around Sergio, he is a footballing legend. With him we feel secure." With regards ambitions for the competition, he insisted that "We have the ability to achieve great things in the Champions League. We have to play well and be ready, but we will try to do all we can. I'm sure the fans will do the same, as they always do. The atmosphere at the stadium on a Champions League night will be amazing."
