FRANCO VÁZQUEZ: "AS A GROUP WE DESERVED THE POSITIVE RESULT"

Franco Vázquez spoke about Sevilla FC's victory over Atlético in the first leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-finals: "It has been a well-balanced match and both sides had opportunities to score in the first half. We played extremely well and, above all, we were able to make a comeback which is important for our confidence". 

He added "in previous matches we showed little improvement, but tonight was a match that beautifully demonstrated our togetherness. We have grown as a team and I hope that this is the start of something for us. We deserved this positive result as a group and to play like this during the bad run we are having means a lot".
