Once confirmed the agreement of the fee for his signing for Leicester City, Vicente Iborra talked in Sólo Fútbol Club SFC Radio to explain his feelings. The until now captain of the first team didn't hide how difficult it is for him to leave his home, but he will always remember the great moments and significant achievements he has experienced while wearing the Sevilla FC shirt, including his three Europa League trophies: "It's a difficult moment, even though I know it will be good for me, for my family and to experience a competition like the Premier League. Sevilla FC is special to me because I've lived many beautiful things in this city. Leaving will be hard, but I do so with happiness due to what I have experienced here. My biggest prize is to have seen people celebrate on the streets and also the affection I have received in the past few hours.

Even though it hasn't been an easy decision, he recognises he couldn't turn the offer down: "I'm starting to hit a certain age, trains pass and it was the moment to take it. I'm thinking about the future of my family and that's what makes me change team, but if it were for another reason I wouldn't have done it. I've always said that I have everything here in Seville and I've been very happy here. I have experienced everything I ever wanted and more, giving back all the confidence that the club had invested in me."

Curiously he'll return to the King Power Stadium, where Sevilla's European dream ended last season: "Destiny is fickle, but it's a project that I find very attractive. Leicester are a club that want to grow, like Sevilla, and who have shown a lot of interest in me. I'm very grateful to them too."

To finish up, he wanted to make clear that his priority, in the case of departure, was to do so while reaching a satisfactory agreement for all parties: "The club understood that it was a great opportunity and we've reached an agreement. We never wanted to end up in bad terms and if I left I hoped to do it in the best way possible. Now I'll be a bit further away, but my support from afar will always be present."
