Head Coach of Sevilla FC, Julen Lopetegui gave his press conference before the away leg of the team's UEFA Europa League Round of 32 clash against CFR Cluj. Lopetegui started off by stating that "we're trying to take the competition as it is. It's a tough game against a very good side. The competition excites us a lot and we're prepared to face up to the complications that it'll throw at us. The name of this competition is enough to get the Sevillistas excited. We're fully focused, as the game will require us to be".

When questioned about the team's current form, Lopetegui said that: "there's no magic fix. In football, there are both good and bad moments. The most important thing is the day to day work and the want to get better. We're well aware of this. The good times will definitely return. The team are really excited. We just have to focus on ourselves and playing a great game, competing well and taking a good result home with us against a strong rival".

"The state of the pitch is not under our control. We can't think about complaining, not even for a second"

"We've changed as we have done throughout the season. There's chances in every game, when you're asking questions and when you're looking to attack or defend in each second. Cluj are a very good team and they're going to require us to compete at the highest level".

On the surface of the pitch, Lopetegui said: "It worries us, but it's out of our control. We have to adapt and compete. We're not going to stop for a second to complain".

Lopetegui rounded it off by stating that "there are lots of teams that have potential. Right now, there's only the one game to focus on, and that's tomorrow's away leg of the Round of 32. The teams who play the best and win will then advance to the next round, so there's absolutely nothing else to say in this moment".
