Lucas Ocampos was in the hot seat this Tuesday on a new edition of 'A Balón Parado' on Sevilla FC Television. The Argentine attacker started off by saying he is already focused on the next step after the draw, and his booking, at Vallecas: "We are taking in the points dropped in and are already thinking towards the next match, there is no time to feel sorry for ourselves. It is hard sometimes for me, there are decisions that you either agree or disagree with, but you have to be able to know how to handle these situations because you want to win." In regards to the recent derby, Ocampos was seen to be full of joy with Munir's goal: "We were really happy for Munir in the derby who scored a goal in a special game like the derby. He is always committed and we are happy for him."

With regards to himself, Ocampos touched on his current form: "I almost never predict anything for the long-term, I always go from day to day because that's the way football is. I am in really good form, I was able to get back to the real me and I want to continue being a part of this club and fighting for its goals." Ocampos payed sentiment to the fans by saying: "The Sevilla fans are a bread apart from the other fans in Spain, there aren't many that do it like they do. I heard what Moyes said the other day and it is true. There are moments in which the team need that atmosphere and they give it to you. When the anthem is sang it's so powerful, the fans feel it as their own."

"In the dressing room, everyone has been adapting to Lopetegui's philosophy"

The man from Quilmes, who got messages from Nolito, Franco Vázquez and Banega, spoke about what he was feeling in the first derby with fans last season: "My first derby... a very special goal in their stadium that was full. Now I experience them in a totally different way, I am not Navas or Rakitic, but I know what it means. I believe in football folklore, I believe in healthy competition.

Ocampos expressed how upset he is to not be able to help the team in the second leg of the last sixteen UEFA Europa League tie: "When things like this happen to me, like in the derby, I feel awful because they're crucial games that every player wants to play in. They leave tomorrow and I am staying here on my own. I am sure the lads who aren't travelling will get together to watch it. When you're watching something that you're devoted to, its hard to handle. It is not going to be easy as we aren't through yet, but I'll go to the ends of the earth with my teammates because it is so competitive. The dressing room is ten out of ten. There is always some differences but they make you grow as a player and as a team, everyone has been adapting to Lopetegui's philosophy."
