MINUTES FOR BANEGA IN ARGENTINA'S 4-0 THRASHING OF HAITI

The Sevillista came on in the 74th minute, substituting Lo Celso

Last night Argentina said goodbye to their fans before the World Cup ahead of their trip to Barcelona, where they will train for the Russia World Cup. They did so in style with a 4-0 friendly win over Haiti at Boca Juniors' world famous Bombonera in Buenos Aires. Éver Banega came on off the bench, replacing Lo Celso in the 74th minute after Sampaoli had already made four changes. Messi was the star of the show with a hattrick, with Aguero adding a fourth goal to round off the scoring.

Gabriel Mercado stayed on the bench and will be looking to pick up minutes in the second and final friendly ahead of the World Cup, which will see Argentina face Israel in Jerusalem on the 9th of June.
