It has been an intensifying winter window, with ups, downs and, finally, objectives accomplished. Excitement has been overflowing with the latest additions to the Sevilla FC squad and despite the attempts of those clubs with large economic potential, Sevilla FC continue to incorporate key players into the team. Monchi talks about all this and much more on the club's official podcast, which you can be listened to on the Sevilla FC Ivoox and Spotify accounts.

On the window, the man from San Fernando said it left him with "a sweet taste because I believe the time, work and dedication that we put into it has payed off. It was clear to us before the window opened what type of players we needed and who were the priorities. I think everything went according to plan for what we achieved." In addition, Monchi praised boss Julen Lopetegui, both for his patience until the deals were finalised and for his role securing those arrivals: "If Sevilla's manager wasn't Lopetegui, it wouldn't have been so easy to have brought Tecatito and Martial in. The players' willingness to play has helped a lot in that respect."
