Vincenzo Montella spoke to the press after finishing up his morning training session this Saturday at the Sports Village. The Sevilla manager started by giving an evaluation on the Copa del Rey, though he was more eager to focus on Sunday's earlier clash with Getafe: "I think that all of the team should think about the next match. Leganés is a great team that has knocked-out Villarreal and Real Madrid but I only think about tomorrow's game". In that regard he was asked who he had wanted in the draw: "To win the cup you need to beat everybody. I'm sure the happiest team of all will be Leganés because they've got the team lowest in the league".

On this Sunday's opponents, he reiterated the words of Bordalás who pointed out Sevilla FC come into the game in their best form: "I think it's a way of motivating his players. We have to play with the same fury and unity that we have shown in the last matches". On picking the right eleven players for the league test, he once again emphasised the importance of the game against Getafe: "The priority is the league. We need to recover and from then we'll start thinking about the cup".

Montella, who up until now has been reluctant to evaluate clashes with direct rivals, made his objectives clear and indicated his tendency to take each game as it comes: "I'm more of one for match to match, because you can never know what's going to happen in a period of time. The next game is the most important".

The Italian coach didn't deny that he's been dreaming of a final with Sevilla but for the moment, he sees that prospect as something for the fans to think about rather than the professionals: "That would be a dream night to enjoy but yes I have dreamt of it. Winning a Copa del Rey final would be incredible. The fans should always dream more than us, they always need to be dreaming".

"Now we look for balance"

He also had words on Thursday's celebrations, which saw the Club turn 128-years old in traditional style - with a family dinner with all squads: "The other night was beautiful as a family, it was the first thing they told me about. The Chairman is a great motivator and he always gave us his support despite the start. Now we look for balance".

The boss was also asked about the prospect of Roque Mesa joining the Nervionenses: "I only talk about players I train, so I don't want to talk about him, though I know him".

Finally, he talked about the displays of affection shown by Sevillistas: "The fans are very close to the team and they make you very calm on the field. It's everything I hoped for".
