Pablo Sarabia says that Sevilla will have to make the point against Real Sociedad on Monday night count.

The winger was on target in the 1-1 draw at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, but received a yellow card to leave him out of Sunday's game against Real Madrid through suspension.

"We knew it was important to win today," said the 24-year-old. "We wanted the three points and after the chances we had and their sending off, we thought we would win the game but in the end it didn't happen. We'll have to make this point count."

The former Getafe man scored his 11th goal of the season before Carlos Vela drew Real Sociedad level, and the winger rued his side's missed chances.

"We had a lot more options but we weren't able to convert them. The team fought throughout, I think the goal that Vela scored was bad luck, but all we can do is keep going."

"I think the team is working well, the results aren't the same as in the first half of the season, which is the realtiy of the situation, and we have to hang on to fourth place, whatever happens."
