Adrià Pedrosa spoke to the media for the first time as a Sevilla player as he was unveiled alongside Federico Gattoni.

To begin, he stated that "I'm very excited to be here. It's going to be very important for my future, it's a big step at a very big club. I'm looking forward to having a good time with my teammates and having a great season."

Regarding the injury from which he has just recovered, the left-back commented that "last year I had surgery on my pubalgia and it was complicated, I spent the whole year recovering. The recovery was slow but I was able to make it. I'm 98% ready to fully compete. I only need minutes under my belt, but that's what the preseason is for."

He also discussed competing for a place with Marcos Acuña: "I'm coming to compete with a World Cup winner, there's not much else to say. I've not been told what my role will be. I'm coming with humility and I'll work hard to compete as much as possible."

The Catalan player also discussed the fact that it is his first season in the UEFA Champions League: "I've never played in it so I'm very excited. I'm coming to compete in every tournament and do my best. If I have to mention one in particular it's the Champions League, it's the pinnacle for a footballer."

To finish, he spoke about the role of the sporting management team: "Monchi was in charge of the signing, but it wasn't just Monchi here, he had a team of people, such as Fernando Navarro who picked me up at the airport. At lunch with Víctor they explained all the details of my file. I don't think that Monchi leaving affects things."
