Adrià Pedrosa, Jesús Navas and Marko Dmitrovic spoke following the draw in the Gran Derbi. Reflecting on the result, the fullback was first to speak: "The point is not enough. We had chances in the game but they were better in the attacking third and we have to cut out the mistakes. Every time there was a second ball they caused us problems and the incredible goal from Rakitic got the fans and spurred us on in the final part. We are going to try everything to sort out our situation and the noise that we heard in the stadium was incredible. We have to have confidence and the quality will come but we also have to work very hard.

Our captain, Jesús Navas highlighted the efforts of the team and the support of the fans. "The team had chances and continued searching for the goal. After the equaliser we had chances to score a winner and we have to continue forward. The team left everything out there and despite the goal we could have won it. It is a special game and today was a draw and we have to continue working."

To round-off, goalkeeper Dmitrovic revealed his frustration at not taking all three points, but felt that the draw was ultimately a fair result and was effusive in his praise of the home support: “I’m frustrated because we wanted to win the Derbi but at the end of the day it’s not a bad point. We need to be more switched-on from the first minute, especially at home with an atmosphere like this evening… the win was there for the taking, it’s just a question of putting the ball in the back of the net and not conceding, we need to push on and build on the point in San Sebastián. Every player wants to play as much as possible, myself included. You have to take your opportunity and play without fear, I felt good tonight and enjoyed every minute of it. As of tomorrow we have to work hard to turn this situation around and use the next two weeks to improve in certain areas. We’ve only been with the new coach for a month and I know how much quality this team has, we just need to gain confidence. The supporters always create an incredible atmosphere and I always enjoy playing here. Win, lose or draw, with the quality and determination we have I know we’ll get to where we want to be.”
