Jules Koundé was disappointed after the draw against Real Sociedad but happy for Lamela. "We know it is not enough. We are disappointed with the result because after such a difficult defeat we wanted to win. We have a bit more of a points advantage and the fans deserved a better performance but it was not to be and we are sad. I think that we lacked precision in the final third and patience. Now we have the international break to rest and we are going to give it everything in what remains of the season. We are happy with the recovery of Coco. It has been difficult for him to be out and we have missed important players but it is what it is and we have to be tough. We are in this situation and we have to get ourselves out of it. There are very good teams behind us and the fixture list is difficult. In terms of effort, there is nothing to criticise about the team. We put in a lot of effort together. A lot of the time we get the reward of a win but recently we haven't been."

Lamela himself, although with the aftertaste of the draw, was happy with his return to the pitch. "It is a bittersweet point, although it is true that we could have lost. The team gave everything and didn't stop trying. I am very happy because I suffered watching the team from afar. It was enormously frustrating but now I am back and I am very thankful. Injuries are always bad and the longer-term ones even worse. But being out didn't mean not being there and I always came to support. Now I can play again and its time to be strong physically and finish the season well."

Lastly, Dmitrovic assessed his performance and his relationship with Yassine Bono: "It is never nice to replace a goalkeeper in the way it happened and with the injury to Bono and I wish him a quick recovery. I had to play and I tried to do everything to get the win. It wasn't to be but we have to continue working because there are nine games left and we will do everything to get the highest number of points. Yassine and me and not just team mates, I can say that we are friends and this friendship makes us better goalkeepers. We are really competitive and it is really healthy. If it is not him, I am prepared and the other way round too. Today I had to play and we got a clean sheet but the important thing are the points."
