Four players spoke to the club media after the draw at Old Trafford, starting with En-Nesyri: "We did our job, they scored two goals on the counter-attack where we lacked concentration, but the second half was good and we managed to equalise. I'm feeling good, confident and working hard, hopefully I can continue like this."

Our captain Jesús Navas also gave his thoughts: "The second half was very good, we came out after them and even after the equaliser we looked for the third, that's the attitude we need. Our squad has experience behind it, despite the 2-0 deficit we kept calm and in the second half we found space. When I came on, the coach asked me to open up play, to get forward and put crosses in. It was very important to peg them back a bit. We still have a very important game ahead of us on Sunday and then we'll set our sights back on the Europa League. Despite the 2-0 deficit, we kept our composure to make things difficult for them and we did just that."

Meanwhile, Erik Lamela acknowledged that "we conceded two quick goals, but the feeling was good even at half-time. We didn't win, but we got a very good result. It's normal to have a bad time here because they create chances out of nothing, but the team was there, they fought and when you work hard, you get good results. Maybe that's not my normal position, but I wanted to play and help the team out."

Regarding his booking, he said, "Nowadays you get sent off for anything, so I tried to go for the ball without being aggressive, but I got a yellow card. I saw that the team was doing well, that we could improve and hurt them. The first goal kept us going and the second is very important. Sunday is a very important game, we need to win because we know the situation we're in, and Thursday will be a great game and a unique opportunity."

Finally, Marcão was happy to be back: "In the first half I think we gave balls away, but the team pulled it together and we talked in the dressing room that we had to fight and be strong. We said we had to be brave and have the ball. We won more balls and were able to score two goals. We started to win duels and had more possession. For those at the back it was easier than when we don't have the ball and you have to run more. It's the same city where I got injured, I was able to come back and play an intense 90 minutes. I'm feeling very positive and have to keep working to get back up to speed."
