Sevilla FC boss, Julen Lopetegui, spoke at his press conference early today about tomorrow's meeting with CA Osasuna in what will be match day twenty three in LaLiga. The Basque coach started by pointing out that "it's great news that we have more players available. The boys from Africa, Argentina and Jesús that has just come back...Despite some bad news, it's always positive to have everyone at training. Someone is going to be able to travel to Pamplona tomorrow. We are going to try and balance things out for tomorrow."

"I expect to face opponents that have been working for ten days straight with a full squad. Up until today, we haven't had everyone back and we still have a doubt. It's what happens with the international breaks. We need to focus ourselves on what we are able to do. I expect that they are going to be aggressive and with things set out clearly. They've had a few problems at right-back but they have always managed to cover it. Whoever plays, they're decisive and show quality in the last embers of the game with a good attack and goal threat. If there's any stadium that puts you under pressure, it's El Sadar," he added.

"Our battle is against Osasuna, nothing more or we would be seriously mistaken"

Lopetegui also noted that "we are happy that the transfer market has closed and that everyone has returned so we can talk about what it's time to talk about. It is an important starting point because the market creates uncertainty. We are very happy with the incomings and we hope that they will settle in as quickly as possible. We are happy with the squad that we have. It's our obligation to compete in every game with the intention of winning it and we already know how difficult this is. Our battle is against Osasuna, nothing more or we would be seriously mistaken"

Finally, the Sevilla coach referred to some specific cases in the squad. "Diego Carlos has not trained the whole week and although he seemed like he wasn't going to he didn't. There are positive and negative things. We focus on who will be there and we will decide everything tomorrow. Martial will travel and is available. He has to get up to speed which we hope will be as soon as possible to help us in such an important part of the season. Delaney was injured while he was in great form and also he had covid. We hope that he will be with us as soon as possible."
