THE SECOND BEST HOME RECORD IN EUROPE WITH A GAME TO GO

It has been a feature throughout the club's illustrious history, but it has got even more pronounced in these last years, if that was possible. Inter can maintain their first position should they win their last game, at home, before the Christmas break. Should there be any slip up, the team best positioned to join them on 18 wins is none other than Sevilla who moved up to 17 wins with last night's win against Atlético Madrid.

Since 9 January, when we beat Real Sociedad, we have played 20 games at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán this year. We have an incredible tally of 17 wins, one draw and two defeats. The goals scored stand at 38 and conceded at just 13. Should we win on Tuesday against FC Barcelona, we will at least move ahead of SS Lazio and FC Bayern who we are currently tied with on 17 wins.
