The Asian edition of the World Football Summit, held this week in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, allowed for the presentation of Sevilla FC's new innovation proposal to clubs, federations, companies and other international organizations. The proposal is one of the most fundamental pillars of the club's strategy and seeks to increase its competitiveness at the highest level through technological advances. During the presentation, the club offered its expertise to the football world as a training and advisory channel for organisations targetting growth, especially for clubs and federations based in the MENA area.

Jesús Arroyo, assistant general manager of Sevilla FC, presented the plan, which was branded 'A vision of the future through innovation' and which will rely on the Innovation Center as its cornerstone. Through this strategy, the club is aiming to share the knowledge and experience it has acquired and which have made Sevilla FC an international reference point with interested third parties and the strategic alliance will include players, coaches, clubs and federations. After his presentation, Arroyo attended a range of meetings and interviews with representatives of organisations registering their interest in the proposal. The club has training opportunities for players at the 'Football Academy, 'the 'Players Academy' as well as a pioneering project assembling a team made up of international players that will compete in the Spanish football pyramid. There are also offers for coaches at the 'Sevilla FC Academy', and managers, through various online master's degrees put on in partnership with numerous affiliated universities.

Another notable attendee at the summit was Elías Zamora, head of the club Data Department, who participated in a meeting to discuss the importance of big data in the running of a football club. So far, Sevilla FC has developed a series of tools that optimise the functioning of all club departments, the success of 'Transfer Tracker' the primary example and a host of cutting-edge projects scheduled to launch in 2024.
