Lucas Ocampos, Adriá Pedrosa and Tanguy Nianzou spoke to the media following Sunday night's defeat to Girona FC. The Argentinian forward described the match as a "tough one that we started well, but ultimately didn't go how we wanted. They scored three quick goals and then things became a lot harder for us. They were a much better side on the night and all we could do was try our best. We're angry, but we have to look forward to the next big challenge at the Metropolitano during the week."

Meanwhile, Pedrosa also reflected on the home side's dominance: "We knew they would come out strong, yet we managed to score early. However, they pulled it back quickly and from then onwards it was a game to forget. There were moments which cost us, added to the fact their confidence is so high right now, therefore it hard to bridge the gap they created. We're all focussed on Atlético now, but tonight we all feel disappointed."

Finally, Nianzou weighed in on the game: "It was a really difficult match, but we have to keep moving and training hard. The atmosphere in the dressing room is sad right now, but we all individually are thinking about what changes we can make ahead of our trip to the Metropolitano. On a personal level, I feel like I've recovered and ready to give 100%."
