MINUTES FOR BONO AND EN-NESYRI IN MORROCO'S DEFEAT AGAINST THE UNITED STATES (3-0)

It was a defeat in the first of two friendlies for Morocco in the close season period before an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Liberia and then time off. The Moroccan team travelled to Cincinnati, Ohio in the USA, where they were well beaten 3-0 by the North American side. It was a game in which one Sevilla player started with Bono, while En-Nesyri came on for El Kaabi in the 65th minute. Munir was not involved having been cut from the squad by Halilhodzic for the game. The USA took the advantage with goals from Aaronson and Weah in the first half and a penalty from Wright just past the hour mark. Morocco will return home and will face South Africa on Thursday 9th June in Rabat in another friendly game. 

All of this came after Argentina's win in the Finalissima at Wembley against Italy in which Acuña and Papu Gómez remained on the bench and in which Montiel was not selected. Tonight, there is another round of international matches with Sevilla players involved. In League B of the UEFA Nations League, Augustinsson's Sweden visit Slovenia in Ljubljana, while Dmitrovic's and Gudelj's Serbia will welcome Norway to Belgrade. Both games will start at 20:45.
