ISAAC AND ALBERTO FLORES HAVE THEIR "DREAMS COME TRUE" IN OUR COPA DEL REY VICTORY AGAINST GETAFE

Isaac Romero and Alberto Flores spoke to the media after our Copa del Rey victory against Getafe CF, which sees us progress to the quarter finals. Having scored his first senior goals, our young striker revealed that "this has been a dream of mine since I was a young boy. Playing for the first team and getting the first win under my belt. I'm so grateful to have this opportunity and to be able to help the team. This means the world to me and to me family. It has definitely been a big step up, but I'm over the moon and can't wait for more!"

Alberto Flores has previously featured in friendly matches, but made his official debut today after a late call up to the starting XI. "I had to be 100% focused after Marko [Dmitrovic] was injured in the warm up. Today showed that years of hard work has paid off. Three years ago I came here as a fan and now they're singing my name. I could not have imagined this in my wildest dreams. After going ahead, they came back into the game and we were put under a bit of pressure. But we took our chances and winning is a great feeling."

In addition, the goalkeeper made a nice touch when asked about what he would do with his match shirt, revealing that he would give it to legendary Sevilla goalkeeper Andrés Palop: "This shirt means a lot and Palop gave me his last one so I am going to tell him that this one is for him, because since he met me he has not stopped helping me. I have almost daily contact with him, he has mentored me and I am very grateful to him. It's a very nice little story and it will always be there in my memory."
