José Castro, the Sevilla FC President, was happy with how his side performed in the 2-1 win over Leicester City, but acknowledged that there will be work to do in the second leg of the Champions League last-16 at the King Power Stadium on March 14.
“The 2-1 result means that it will be tough in the away leg in Leicester, but we have to go there looking to win the game," Castro told Bein Sports, after goals from Pablo Sarabia and Joaquín Correa put Sevilla ahead before Jamie Vardy grabbed an away goal for the visitors.
"We’ll go there knowing that it will be difficult but with every intention of winning the game.
“My team is on a good run of form and we are capable of going through, we will give it our all.”
He added: “It was an exciting game but the result has sold us short.
“We deserved a bigger margin of victory, the team played very well but Leicester have ability and nous. Their goalkeeper played very well and kept them in the game.
