CASTRO: "WE ALL HAVE TO BE TOGETHER"

Tonight Sevilla FC will organise a dinner for the Ladies' team to recognise the brilliant work the team are doing this season, in which they're fighting for promotion. As a result, the president José Castro was booked to speak on SFC Radio, and the conversation moved on to the latest on the first team. Asked about the meeting he and the vice president José María del Nido Carrasco had last Tuesday with Jorge Sampaoli, he pointed out that it's normal for him to talk to the boss and that in the meeting they spoke about how much there is to play for.

"As is logical, the president and the manager are always in contact and from time to time we sit down at a table. We spoke about the present. Castro, speaking about Sampaoli, stressed that "everyone has seen that the manager is focused on what he has to be focused on, his team. We know about his professionalism and tomorrow we all have to be together".

Finally, speaking about the Ladies' team, who are in a strong position in their aim to secure promotion, he commented that "they are having an extraordinary season. Practically all our players are from the internal structure, it's an academy project. We want to rally round them, because they're really putting in an extraordinary effort".
